Q. How long will the draft take?
A. With each Team owner allowed to take a maximum of 2 minutes for a player selection (although many selections will take less time), and with a total of 16 rounds, we estimate that the online draft should last between 3-4 hours. Customer and Technical support will be provided to assist in any difficulties throughout the draft.
Q. When is the draft going to take place?
A. The HFFL Draft will hold drafts on 3 different days, you select the date that works best for you during the registration process. The first draft will be Sunday August 24th, 2008.
Q. Do I need to be present for the draft or can I pre-rank my players?
A. If an owner is not present for the draft, he can pre-rank his players to automatically be drafted by the computer program. Players must perform their own pre-ranking. The HFFL will provide a list of all the players in the draft, however, we do not set the final pre-rank players list for contestants, and all contestants must do that on their own. To insure that you that you will not be skipped in a Round during the draft, you can set the "Fail Safe" option on your pre-rank draft page.
Q. Because this is online, what happens if my modem crashes?
A. The HFFL will have operators overlooking each draft. If your modem crashes, we will send out an immediate notification to the individuals in your league that the draft is on "hold." If you cannot reset your connection, you will continue to draft via telephone for the duration of the draft. For further protection, we strongly suggest that you pre-rank your players to allow the computer to select your draft picks automatically in case you encounter an emergency during the draft.
Q. What are Promo Prizes?
Promo Prizes are additional prizes that are given away during the course of the season. We are proud to offer our "One Week Wonder!" A $25.00 WEEKLY cash prize awarded to the overall the contestant with the highest number of points in the week.
Q. Why should I play in your contest?
A. You will not find a higher payout ratio on the internet. The HFFL also offers the most unique Fantasy Football format available.
